201 Pro XL Power Pole Blades - Feedback Wanted

Hey Guys, new to the boards. Early last year I got my first stratos. It’s a 2005 201 Pro XL with a 2012 Mercury Pro XS.
Here are some pictures of my rig.

I’m looking for feedback on if any of you have power pole blades on your 201s. Mine has the 6 inch pro high jacker manual plate. It looks like I would get the side mount brackets to the plate. Does anybody have a similar setup and does it work for you?

I have the same boat with 250 yamaha 0x66 250 and 2- 10' blades. I have a 8" slidemaster jackplate with the power pole brackets, tilt brackets from Hydrilla gear. My slidemaster had the holes i was able to mount to. I have no issues with my setup. I would send pictures but it is covered up.

Thanks for the reply. Here is my jack plate. I heard some concerns that the poles may set to low and drag water while on plane.

Depending on the height that the power pole bracket that mounts to the jackplate, it could be low and drag. You should have enough height/bolt hole for it not to drag.

will have to drill or install sandwich mount (would not do that) i had twin talons but no new spot lock TM. would go with a spot lock TM over talons knowing what I do now.

I’m probably gonna still do poles before a spot lock TM. Most of the time I fish shallow less than 8 feet. But I also plan to upgrade the trolling motor soon to a garmin force or motorguide tour pro.

We have dual 8ft blades on our 201. It has a hi-jacker jackplate, and we have the brackets mounted to jack plate. It works very well. I will post up a picture shortly. Our boat is older than yours, but I can show you none the less. We love our setup.

Thanks for the picture. That’s just what I needed to see! Did you have to drill into your plate or did you take the bolts out and put the bracket over the adjustment bolts

Those show the mounting of the brackets. No drilling involved.

They're in the bilge, I don't have a picture of how theyre mounted though. I won't be around boat anytime soon, I apologize. She's still in storage. Ill try and remember to grab a pic next time I am over there.

If you have them slid to the bottom of the slots on the bracket you should be fine. I'd make sure the brackets you order have some rise in them. I currently run the 2-2 brackets on my 10 inch bobs. 2 inches up and 2 inches out. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info on the pumps. It looks like in mine there will be enough room in the bilge
