    NFC MB805 blank

Anyone ever build on an NFC MB805 blank? Any thoughts? What techniques/weights would this blank be best for?

Spinnerbaits and any jig types you can think of you'd throw with one of your other spinnerbait rods.

I've built a decent number of MB705's, yeah it's a typical M+/MH blank. Good for a lot of things. If you were going to throw both moving baits and jigs/trigs with it I'd go with the IM myself, if you were just going to be using it for moving baits the Delta is all you'll need and for just trigs/jigs HM.

Thanks. What weights would the HM blank work best with? Is the tip a little soft or stiff on these models?

The HM is "stiffer" or "crisper" than the IM or Delta but they're pretty much the same power. It's a typical MB taper so it's just a fast action with decent power. 1/2oz jig with a trailer is probably where I'd comfortably go with it.
