Black or red split tail trailer. Zoom and Lunker City both make a good versions.

I tried some and just couldn't make myself fish them. They were just too red. I usually try to put a darker color trailer on my fire craw chatterbaits.

I have been using ZMan turbo craws in green pumpkin orange for the most part, but I've also used the Bizz Baits cutter craw in embers and ash (black/red) too. Bizz started doing limited runs of fire craw colored baits, so I did pick up some different craws in the color to try out. I also saw some fire craw ZMan diesel minnows at Cabelas the other day, so I had to get a pack of those to try and they do have the craws in that color now too. I'm curious to see if there's any real difference in matching the plastic color or having that little bit of darker contrast mixed in.
