Winter has arrived in Leesburg Florida. A little Frosty this morning. Guess the bed fish I was watching Wednesday will be gone back deep. Stay safe all.

One thing is certain ... put away the bass rods and break out the speck poles.
Nothing will shut down Florida strain (man or beast) quicker than a cold spell.

That would be summer fishing up here, but Florida is different due to the humidity. I learned that lesson on a fishing trip to the Big O.

Going to get nasty in the Big Bend, seas 9-14 feet, sustained winds 20kts with gusts to 45kts. Small craft advisory until Monday AM. Current temp 64* with rain beginning approx 6 PM, so much for seeing the space station, rain, tstorms and possible tornadoes, thru Sunday AM. Highs for Sunday 54* low 34*. Monday high 56 with a low of 32* will be chilly but that's N Fla.

I have took other northerners out, and they learned that. Words of one I believe was, with that humidity I was cold and it was only in the 50's. Not to mention others. I have been in the 20's at Lake Guntersville. And in Oklahoma and surrounding areas years back. And never got as cold as I have been in Florida. But grew up here, and can't stand the cold.
