Is there an adjustment on the sending unit on the 200 Pro XS? I would like to adjust the "full down"position on the gauge.

I don't think its adjustable. I wish it was because at full trim, mine only reads 1/4 on the gauge. The gauge is also very slow to respond when adjusting trim. Pretty sure they are all this way. It's my understanding that the trim sensor is an input to the engine ECM and as such should not be tampered with.

I'm lucky if mine works at all. Been doing this awhile so I don't really need the gauge.

I've owned 5 Mercury's and all of them worked the same way, which was hardly at all. About 1/4 on the gauge equals full trim. Still the same on my Z18.

The analog trim sender on my 2017 Z21 was adjustable enough to get the gauge to match the position of the motor. The dealer said they just loosened up the mounting screws and adjusted it to match the gauge.

If the trim is on a new Mercury, it MAY be adjustable depending on its accompanying gauge. If you have Smartcraft gauges or a Mercmonitor, then you can adjust it. If not, then it cannot be adjusted.
Older, analog trim sending units were adjustable by loosening and turning the sender slightly. The new digital senders must be electronically adjusted and you need an instrument that has a trim calibration function.
