    Z521C port side rod locker

I know this has been beaten too death but I am going to cut out the tubes, get rid of the moose rack at he back so this space will be usuable.
I have found a 30” sawzall blade so I am going after it.
Now with all that being said, who has done this ??
Might there be any wiring mixed in with this mass of foam as this would be disastrous to cut up stuff that you have no access to.
    HELP please for some guidance.

If you remove the front panel and feel up under the trolling motor as far as your hand can reach, you should be able to tell whether there’s any wiring on that side. The only thing I can think of on the port side would possibly be trolling motor wiring. Having said that, I’d use manual tools only if it was my boat. If you’re not starting right away, I could check with my dealer [who’s currently at a boat show] and get back to you.

The wires for the trolling motor do run down the port side. There is a lot of foam holding them in.
