    Who Uses Copolymer Line?

Who is using copolymer line and for what applications? A full spool or just for leaders? Any advantages? What brand are you using?

I usually use CXX for jigs and t rigs when I am fishing somewhere I may get hung up where I do not like using braid.

I use either cxx or a mono line for topwater, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits , the rare case I use a crankbait etc.

I like the strength and abrasion resistance that cxx has.

I use it for topwaters and some moving baits. My favorite is McCoy's Mean Green. Has the perfect combo of little memory, decent stretch, and super durability that makes it a steady part of my arsenal.

I bought some last year by mistake (thought it was 100% fluoro) but I ended up really liking it. I have been using it on a crankbait rod and on a topwater rod (10 lb. test).

In my experience McCoy has the most stretch of anything I have use. If I set the hook on a slaunch it seems that the fish does not even move even if I pull as hard and as far as I can.

Whopperstopper turned me on to Izorline, and with all the breaking issues I am having with Flourocarbon, I am becoming a fan of it.

I have used the Berkley Fluoroshield for traps and spinnerbaits and chatterbaits, no problem, decent line for those applications, topwaters I like Big Game ,crankin I use fluoro and all my spinning rods are braid to fluoro.

I pretty much switched to P-Line Floroclear for most of my setups. Bulk spools are Cheap, it's strong and it casts great!

    I'm done with straight Fluorocarbon!

In a last minute jam about 2 years ago I didn't have much choice and used some P-Line on a couple of reels..... I was pretty sure I was going to hate it but it worked surprisingly well and I kept it on for a season.

Izorline has replaced most of my FC. Great for spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and cranking.

I use Izorline for topwater and also as a leader on my C-rig rods. It is a VERY good co-poly line. I still use straight flouro for most applications and, of course, braid for frogs and punching grass, but if I were ever limited to ONLY one line choice/brand for all purposes, it would be Izorline and I wouldn't even have to think about it!!
