    Portable Jump Starter

Need some recommendations on portable jump starters. I am looking at the Weego and Noco but there are so many choices out there I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger on one. I have a 2015 Merc Pro XS.

I got the Noco 40 as a gift.
It will start my V8 pickup but would NOT start my 300 horse 3.2 Ltr optimax..... So, I keep the 40 in my truck and bought the NoCo 70 for the boat.

Check out Audew. Their 2000 model is listed as the best in some reviews. Only about $69 on sale. I bought one but haven't had to use it yet.

Depends on your batteries too? The NOCO and Hulkman have a “force” charge feature that can be used to wake up a lithium If needed. The others generally need to see some voltage. I have had Weegos but currently have Hulkman plus Audew now. Weegos were great for starting cars when I’ve needed it. First Weego I had the wires got hot and melted down but Weego replaced the starter wires. The current Weego I use in my SUV and used it recently with no problems. Have yet to use the Hulkman or Audew so can’t really say but they get good reviews.

I've got a NOCO GB70. I've never tried in on my boat (50 horse) but it will start a diesel pickup with 2 dead batteries.
