Lews HyperMag Reel Repair

I have a Lews HyperMag that seems to cast significantly worse as you tighten down the drag (basically like tightening the drag tightens the spool tensioner or something like that). Is there a Board Sponsor (or someone else) that repairs Lews reels.... Or maybe you know a quick fix?

Lew's has fantastic customer service. If you send the reel into them and explain the issue, they will likely repair it for free and mail it back. I've sent them some reels and had great experiences getting them back quickly (and free repairs).

Lew’s has farmed their reel repair out to 3rd party repair centers. Better give them a call before sending back to Lew’s service because it doesn’t exist anymore.
