    Mid size brush hogs

Now that zoom has come out with the mid size brush hog, has it been a better size for you over the baby and 6 in size

It doesn't matter to me. I throw all of them until I get a bite, then stay with that size.

I like the mid size better than the others. I punch with them and the small is too skinny,it’s too hard to keep the hook in. The big one is just too massive,IMO. Mid size is just right, kinda like mama bear’s porridge.

I really like to flip with the mid size one. I still use full size on a C-rig.

The baby brush hog is a staple for me. I have never used the mid sized. Where is the additional length added? In the body, tails or both. Also are they thicker?

I haven't tried the midsize but I've always had better luck on the Super Hog than either the baby or standard Brush Hog.

Body and tail, and yes they're thicker. Scaled up version of the baby, or scaled down version of the full size. It's really the perfect size.

Yes. On a 1/2 oz shakey head all day long. Switch to a super hog if they aren’t buying the mid size brush hog. And wish they had a great selection of both.

They have them in junebug, green pumpkin, watermelon, and black and blue. What other colors do you need?

Maybe try the California 420. That and Black Sapphire are the only 2 I use.

Thankfully I have a mold for it too. For me when they want it more vertical on deep bluffs in summer is when I do better on a super hog& I always have one on always try it too. When they want a sort of gliding fall it’s the best I know to throw for big smallmouth & they’ll thump it.

I was looking for some Mid sized brushys yesterday and the shop was out but I stumbled on some little tiny ones. Way smaller than the baby brush hogs. Like maybe 2” long. Drop shot sized brush hogs.
