    X19 with 200SHO or 175

In the market for a X19 but am seeing a major price difference in the 200SHO compared to the 175. What are yalls opinions? Does the 175 perform just as well out of the gate? Would you personally downgrade to a 175 if you are able to add maybe some more options(Poles, seadeck, hydraulic plate etc) to the boat if you are on a budget or would you most definitely add a 200SHO and miss out on a couple options? I feel like you can get a nice setup with most everything you want on the boat if you go with the 175 compared to a 200. Let me know your thoughts. I am coming from a triton 18trx with a 2002 stroke. Topped 67-68 with this motor. Only went this speed first thing in the morning. Other than that I rarely am going over 60. Thanks!

The 175 will not perform close to the 200 SHO. If you add poles it will be even worse.

Personally I like an X19, but only with the 200 SHO. Would not care to own one with the 175 SHO, not enough cubic inches compared to the 4.2L 200 so much less torque.

My 2021 X19 with 175 sho will do right at 60. I need to move it up an inch and a half or so to get it to peak performance. I'm guessing 64 - 65 is doable. After having it a year, I wish I had gotten a hydraulic jack plate installed. Power poles would be my 2nd choice for an add on. I'm a fan of the liner so the sea deck wasn't really a consideration.

I have the 175 SHO. It is not close to a 200 SHO. 62-63 is the max I have seen. Normally run around 61.5 max with 2 passengers, full rod locker and tackle, plus 2 8' poles. Sometimes I wish I had the 200 just because I want to go faster. But fishing wise I think it sits better with the 175.
