This from TX Director..Ed Dustin....So yesterday at the Lake Anna Big Bass Battle we were able to witness something truly legendary for Lake Anna Fishing. Team Jeff Parrish & Clay Gatewood launched their boat in the wind and rain like everyone else… now follow me as the magic unfolds:
This is what they weighed in-
8am-9am 2nd place 5.65lb $200.00
9am-10am 1st place 6.19lb $350.00
11am-12pm 1st place 6.29lb $350.00
12pm-1pm 1st place 7.83lb $350.00
2pm-3pm 1st place 6.23lb $350.00
Earning the Grand Prize for their 7.83lb adding another $1000.00
Grand total for the day= $2600.00
Now here is what makes their day legendary….add the 5 fish they weigh in…. 32.19 lbs!!!!!!
That’s right if they fished a regular tournament they would have shattered the current lake record with 32.19 lbs!!!!
