Add me to the new 1911 list!!

After seeing Frogchunker's post about picking up a Loaded I mentioned that I had my eye on the Garrison but have always wanted a TRP. Looking around the internet I noticed they just released a new Operator, called the LGS and the got one in today so I snagged it!!!

Very Sweet. I like the finish. VZ slimline grips are great too.

That is a beautiful 1911. I bought a used TRP for my birthday a few years ago and love shooting that gun at the range or my buddy's farm.

A guy on another forum graciously sent me a set of Harret's cocobolo grips but they are magwell cut and didn't have the ambi-safety cut. I got out my rotary tool and did a little sanding for the ambi cut. Thinking about a magwell then she'll have the Springfield Professional look. Also got a set of VZ Simonich Gunner grips but I'm digging the cocobolo

Added a Smith and Alexander magwell along with Cocobolo grips to complete the Springfield Professional look.

Did you find that somewhere local? I’ve been looking for one down here around Fort Smith but no luck yet.
