I have two linked Helix 9 on boat and they are not reading my lakemaster chip. The machine locks up. had both updated. thinking of jerking them off and adding Garmins and live scope. I'll not be doing the work but are these boats difficult and time consuming to take off old stuff and run new? I will put helix on my tracker that i fish small hp restriced lake with no maps for the lake.

It shouldn’t take a shop more than 2 hrs. It took me and a friend about 3 hrs to run new ducer to transom and connect 93sv plus and 93 uhd with garmin network cables linking both together.

Do the Birds work without the card installed? Might have a corrupt card?

yes have to unplug. Then have base maps but some lakes not included such as lake Keowee
