    if I were looking
The Powell naked series is interesting (and there 139 at TW)
It's 7' med with a X fast action. That's what I use for wacky, ned rigs or DS
Need the X fast tip. good looking handle and I like the JDM style

If you like holding a spinning rod forward in your hand, the Daiwa Tatula feels wonderful. To me the grip and balance point of a spinning rod have almost as much importance as the physical blank itself. I think the Tatula punches above its weight class.

Recently picked up a GLX 852s. Was going to go with the NRX+ 852s but I didn’t like the new blank at all. The GLX 852s has a fantastic blank. I’ve been fishing a little bit of everything on it including jerkbaits. Not crazy about the handle though. It bugs me.

Only reason I’m mentioning this rod is it’s above your price point but I saw a lightly used one listed in the bassresource classifieds for what you want to stay under a few days ago and maybe it’s something you would want to go for. Amazing blank. Terrible handle. Hmm! :)

Agreed... I've bought 2 this year and was happy enough that I sold a Megabass X4 A Mart Drop Shot rod.

I agree with this. Also the St Croix Victory is another one that has the forward grip

I have a Expride 7M, and indeed it is a nice all around rod.
I also have a Daiwa Rebellion 71M, in my hands it is right up there with Expride except balance a little bit off (still good though). Personally I like Rebellion much better than Tatula.

ALX Trickster. A very special rod, for sure. Well below your $300 price point. Handles all of those techniques and more exceedingly well. I find it has superb sensitivity, comfort and durability.

I have rods that cost 3 times as much that don't see half the playing time. Its one of those "always in my boat" rods.

Of course, it helps that I caught a 5 lb. bass on my first cast with it 5 years ago. That was a great start to a wonderful relationship!

Great deal! 852 or 822? Sweet rods. I dropshot with a 822 NRX and throw a small senko with the NRX 852. Love em'.
