    Boat mounted oil tank

    Wanting to drain this tank. Can i tank it out and drain? Does a oil prime need to be done after the pour out?

    Sure can. Afterward you'll need to a bleed procedure as outlined in the FAQ - Bleeding air from the Engine Mounted Oil Tank

    Be sure to check the pickup tube/strainer while you have it out.

    I was thinking this. Yes i am wanting to check the strainer/pick up just to be checking as a maintenance item
