    Running motor in cold weather

I get on the water early spring and almost always the last boat out before winter. What happens to the water impeller when you start the motor to warm up and it takes 3-4 minutes for water to start moving from the thermostat? Engine info at the bottom.

    Thanks, Dodger123

Not sure if this will answer your question.
Impeller will be submerged and wet as soon as the LU is under.

Thanks!! I was unsure if it was submerged or it was drawing water up. I still like being out in the boat while everyone else are talking ice fishing season. ;)
