    2017 200hp ETEC safety steering alert

    How do you reset the safety alert , motor has 38 hours and nothing wrong with the steering.

    you have not provided enough information to help us. What is the engine model number? Please note also that Evinrude stopped using model years in 2013.

    what engine are we talking about? Your profile shows a E20LHAG. Did the extra zero get missed?

    Any common faults that can trigger an rpm limiting condition will automatically turn off when the related problem is corrected.
