One of the things I detest most in life. If I have a concern, I just call the company on a Legitimate number, most knew exactly what my call concerns. Sometimes, I still mess it’s them, but I’ve cut back on that, never know how they can use some of your words, sneaky little turds.

I enjoy answering those calls! Playing along. #1 has to be playing along when MicroSoft calls me. Lead them along, then tell them I have a MAC.

My wife ask why I mess with them? I tell her the longer I keep them on the phone less time they may have to actually scam someone.

Sad thing is that someone must be falling for it or they would have quit by now. If I'm bored, I try and see how long I can keep them on the phone. If in a bad mood, well, I keep a rescue whistle by the phone in my office.

A 'heads up' for those of you who may be regular Home Depot customers.
This one caught me by surprise. Over the last month I became a victim
of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies
has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think
it couldn't happen to you or your friends.
Here's how the scam works: Two seriously good-looking
20-21 year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your
car, They both start wiping your windshield with a
rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy
T-shirts. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer
them a tip, they say 'No' and instead ask you for a ride to
    McDonald's. You
agree and they get in the backseat.
On the way, they start undressing. Then one of them climbs over into
the front seat and starts crawling all over you, while the other one
    steals your wallet.
I had my wallet stolen February 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th,
    17th, 20th, 24th & 29th. Also, March 1st, 4th, twice on the 8th, 16th,
23rd, 26th, 30th, three times last Saturday and very likely again this
    upcoming weekend.
So tell your friends to be careful.
P.S. Wal-Mart has wallets on sale $2.99 each
    Thanks Bill

I read where Americans lost like 29 billion in phone scams last year! So I would say yea it’s working.

I usually get "Free ATT message: You're 'insert month" bill has been paid, here's a little gift for you: bs link" and I always reply with "**** off scammer" then block the number. This morning I got one saying something about my browser history and my phone has 3 viruses on it and a link to clean them from my phone. It got the same treatment as the other bs texts.

When you are old, it's nice to get a phone call every once in a while. I ask them if they are one of my grandkids and then go on about something we did when they were young

I do that too. They don't have a response in their script and don't know what to say.

FYI if you have an iPhone you can go into your settings and set your phone to only ring or give a text alert tone if the number is in your contact list. If the number is not in your contact list a phone call goes straight to voicemail and the text comes through but you do not get an alert tone. The text will be there but you want know about it until you look at your phone and see it.

Amazon has been calling me for months and months, so it's not a new scam. So far, I just hang up on them, but youse guys have given me a lot of new ideas to entertain them. It seems like I've been wasting some opportunities.

One of the worst things I've done was sign up for a "service" sort of like "Angie's List". I can't remember the name of it, but they sent us contractors that seemed pretty scammy to me, plus wanting about double for a bathroom refurb.
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

I killed a 12-pack just to watch it die.

I just blocked a number that text me fishing. Said my Sun Coast Credit Union account is put on hold till I verify my info, due to suspicious activity.
    And had a link.
    I don't have a account.
