    Heads up scam alert!

Apparently a new scam using Amazon. You get a call saying it is from Amazon Fraud division about someone buying a big ticket item in another state using your account. Got one this morning thought I would pass it on.

I heard that if you give them your credit card number that they will quit calling you.

I get that call about every two weeks. I don't have an Amazon account.

I get scam texts often about non existent bills being paid, orders ready to ship, or prizes I have won , with a link to click. Most of those texts come around midnight, or 6 am.

Yep, got this text message the other day. “ Your December Verizon Bill is paid. Here’s a little gift for you. Happy New Year”

When I know it’s a scam like that I’ll tell them the purchase is legit. They then stumble over their words and aren’t sure what to say I don’t know why but it amuses me.

I tell them I’ll get right back to them as soon as their mother and I are finished.

    Home Depot Scam
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A 'heads up' for those of you who may be regular Home Depot customers.
This one caught me by surprise. Over the last month I became a victim
of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies
has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think
it couldn't happen to you or your friends.
Here's how the scam works: Two seriously good-looking
20-21 year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your
car, They both start wiping your windshield with a
rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy
T-shirts. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer
them a tip, they say 'No' and instead ask you for a ride to
    McDonald's. You
agree and they get in the backseat.
On the way, they start undressing. Then one of them climbs over into
the front seat and starts crawling all over you, while the other one
    steals your wallet.
I had my wallet stolen February 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th,
    17th, 20th, 24th & 29th. Also, March 1st, 4th, twice on the 8th, 16th,
23rd, 26th, 30th, three times last Saturday and very likely again this
    upcoming weekend.
So tell your friends to be careful.
P.S. Wal-Mart has wallets on sale $2.99 each

That’s the only reason I answer is to have a little fun. I actually got one of those fellows with the accent to actually say how dare you after I talked a little about his family!

Same here. Had some India guy just ream me when I mentioned his mother. Thought he was going to jump on a plane to the U.S. and beat me to death with his shoe.

BAAHAHHAA This. .. I do something similar with the ones I get offering me extended warranties on cars I haven't owned in years. I tell them I don't own this vehicle anymore and ask if they can offer the same deal on the 82 Celica I'm driving now? . . . . "click"

I always let them talk for a minute then interrupt and start to tell them about how bad my day has been. Most hang up.

Last year I kept a guy that had a heavy accent on the phone for quite a few minutes——- Microsoft/ window virus scam. After sometime I told him I was on an IPad, he told me to F—- off. Must have ruined his day, he called me back 3 times, the second time I told him I would just lay there and sweat like his wife. Daymn he took it personally
