    Grotto Boat Latch

Saw this on a fishing show. Is there anyone on the forum who is familiar with or has one that could provide me with feedback? I have a 16’ 6” Alumacraft Escape and thought this might make my launching and loading easier and faster.

Drotto. Love it for solo loading.

I have one on a Bass Cat Lynx. Definitely makes loading and unloading easier. It takes a little getting the hang of to hit the latch properly but all in all it's well made and I'd not be without one.

One of the best mods I have done to my boat, I fish alone quite a bit and makes it much easier loading/unloading.

Is there any danger of damaging the bow if you don't hit the latch properly?
There was a time that I didn't fish but I cannot remember it.

Only if you come in hard and under it, same as any bow stop. My boat never misses laterally.

As for over, just exercise some care.
