Growing up in Chicago, I can still remember how much I would look forward to the "show season" just because it seemed to break up that never ending time period from the time we Winterized the boat until the opening at Braidwood. It really makes me appreciate the fact that I now live in a part of the state where nobody knows what Winterizing means!!
I can remember way back to when they were held at the Ampitheater, then I think they went to McCormick Place, and then Rosemont....I moved out of Crook County in 2005, so I don't really know what happened after that. I do remember working a sponsors booth at a show a couple times in Shaumburg and then a couple weeks later we would set up at a high school in either Tinley or Orland, but Im not sure who hosted those shows.
