    PXG Golf Clubs

Thinking of getting some new Irons.

Anyone dealt with this company, quality, sizing, cost. Pretty good sale on at this time. Have some friends that love them.

I'm curious about them also. I will be in Scottsdale at the end of February and thinking about going to their facility. Possibly hit a few, get fitted and see what I think.

I did a demo with the Gen 3 PXG 311 P version clubs, love, love the looks of the irons but didn't get the results i was hoping for, i ended up buying a Srixon ZX5/ZX7 combo set instead. The distance was very good on these but i just couldn't work the ball as good as i needed to and the feel was different from the forged irons i'm used to playing, they seem very well built.

The wife just went PXG with her whole bag. For fun, I ordered a combo set of 311P and 311T just to see how good they are. I will say their prices for the Gen 3 irons are hard to beat.
I have play Callaway 21 Apex/Apex Pro irons for reference. I have only played one round with the PXGs and I will say they are softer than the Apex. Distance is about the same for me, the Apex may be 3 yards longer. I can work them up or down and left and right.

We have one location that will fit for the clubs. Must be real popular, 3 week waiting list. Thinking about signing up, get on the list and hit a couple. I like that they have the dynamic gold shafts as one of there Iron options.

I have the 0311P and prefer my Wilson C300 forged. I just don’t think I’m good enough to consistently hit the PXGs (11 hcp average).

Man, you should be plenty good to play the 0311Ps but confidence is more important.

Was anyone tried their drivers? They are having a sale on the 0211 driver for only $219 with the HZRDUS Smoke shaft in it. Just looking through YouTube its getting some very good reviews.

I have a friend that bought PXG. He purchased irons and driver. I hit the driver and it felt light and solid. I really liked the driver. I have not hit the irons. My friend is very pleased with his PXG's.

FYI, in Scottsdale as we speak. Made the mistake of going for a fitting at PXG yesterday! What a place!
