Anyone been crappie fishing?

Before this latest cold weather and snow I was killing them every time I went. Perry and Pamona. Caught some absolute slobs at Pamona a couple weeks ago.

This cold air we have now has really got the bite going well from what I’ve heard.

If we can get a couple days brake in these temps I’d like to make a trip out to Glen Elder. Some huge crappie being caught out there right now.

Still bass fishing down here but as soon as it cools off I will start chasing crappie

I'd like to get out but my kids are ate up trying to chase ducks....I keep trying to tell them crappie taste so much better though.

Have heard of some guys having good luck but have not gone. I have not went fishing for just crappie in quite awhile.
