Mounting aftermarket console between seats on a 2006 294 pro xl

Mounting a small basscat AM console between the seats. I know the gas tank is under the seats (according to the sticker on the boat). How could i mount this? Anyone installed an aftermarket console/coin box before?

Here's a decade-old thread on this that will tell you how the originals were mounted in the 200/201's. Most of the pics are gone, but there is one on page 2 that shows the original box. Boxes used a slot in the seat back panel that a short tab pushed in to, then there is a nut below the front of the box for a thumb screw. For boats without the slot/nut, consensus is screws thru the bottom of the box into the panel the seats are bolted to. Problem is finding the right length of screw.
