    Michigan Trip

We are looking to do a bass (large and small) trip to Michigan the week of Easter. We already have a Minnesota trip scheduled in June. We have picked a few inland lakes in Southern Michigan but also have a few up further North. Any help on which end of the state would be better? Thanks in advance.

That early in the year, I would stay toward the southern half of Michigan.

Thanks. We are trying to time it about a month out from the thaw and water temps rising to the 50's.

Stay in the southeast side of the state and consider jigging for Walleye in the Detroit river one day while you are here...Pretty easy fishing and great table fare.. (Go during the week because it gets crazy busy on the weekends)
Lake st clair and the inland lakes could be hit and miss depending on weather..

Stay to the south. A lot of lakes will still have a frozen lid on them that time of the year after a normal winter.
