I know in ma when you are 70 years old you get a free fishing license. Does that start the year your turning 70 or when you turn 70? I turn 70 in May but always buy my license in Jan because I start or keep going if there is no ice...lol anyone have any knowledge of this the website is a cluster to try and find info...

I would venture to say that whatever takes the longest and they can get your money is the way it is.

    AL,
IT use to be the year you turn 70 but now it's over 70. Like everything else always trying to get that extra buck. BTW, if you have an LTC or FID, that will be "free" also.
