    Prop selection help

    Guys, I'm running a 1982 Ranger 380 Chief, 18'7", with a 1993 Merc. 150 Carb. Boat weighs 1350 lbs, with a pad hull. 22" transom. Good compression ea cylinder.
    I think I needs a 14 3/4 ", 15 spline hub.
    I'm looking for bow lift, with good hole shot and performance.
    I would appreciate any and all educated recommendations....

    4 1/4 or 4 3/4 inch gearcase?

    Not the propeller.... The Lower unit. If you have the small gearcase, It limits your propeller choices.
