Very nice captures. Seeing these pics I remembered someone once saying to use continuous shooting and auto focus and one of the photos is bound to be in focus. Made perfect since lol.

Oh yeah, a lot of cameras have some type of tracking and continuous AF. Also, do not use a single point focus point. My D500 will shoot up to 10 pics per second, shoot a bunch delete the bad ones. Part of the fun of digital.

I was taking pictures yesterday of my wife practicing cow work with one of her young horses. Took 297 pictures, edited 58, to get maybe 10 usable pics.

Nice shots. Your keeper rate is better than mine. I think I keep 2 or 3 out of 100. A few nights ago we had about 12 deer laying in our back yard. It was dark with no moon. I could not get auto focus to work as the ambient light wasn't enough. I tried manual. Then I tried to guess the distance and set the lens for that distance. I must have taken 200 shots and not one came out like I planned. using the bulb setting i tried 60 second down to 5 seconds. Going to try it again when it warms up outside. thanks for posting those shots.

I've been trying to take pictures of my sons hockey games. I'll take 250-350 pictures in a 1 hour game (42 minutes of actual game time). Always shot in jpg because I was afraid of RAW and editing but finally got Photoshop/Lightroom and am learning it.

There is a lot of videos out there for both programs. Been learning it myself, got questions feel free to ask. Sure we can figure it out.
