    Throttle Tensioner

The throttle lever on my boat wants to slide back to neutral if I don’t keep my hand on it. I know there supposed to to be a screw for the tension. It’s for an 2008 150 vmax, it’s really simple looking throttle hand with one screw on the top end. Not sure if thats what I need to tighten the tension. Any body with this outboard know?

Model of the motor does not matter. What is needed is the model of the control box. Or type of control box.

    Model # V150 TLR.
    Serial #6J9 L 1013889

Throttle is very basic looking. Smaller round base and one single full bodied screw near the top witch is pretty far out. That screw is the only thing on there is see really other than the kill switch.

The bottom pic. The circular one, tiny different. Kill switch isn't located directly on bottom on mine, little more toward the back.
