    Anyone using a 189c?

Anyone fishing out of a 189C? If so, how do you like it? I keep going back and forth between the 189c and the 1880. I crappie fish a lot here in Oklahoma so I do like the dual livewells and wide bow on the 189c, but think maybe the 1880 is more stable?

Can't decide. any thoughts are appreciated.

I was considering a 181 or 189c until I looked at the 1880 really close. I bought the 1880 but could be happy with the 189c also. If you do a lot of crappie fishing, you may prefer the 189c with large front livewell. I do it all, bass, crappie, redfish, so the 1880 appealed to me more.

I got to test drive a 189 and 1880 back to back on my dealers test lake. It’s a fairly small borrow pit about 5 acres so it was easy to do doughnuts and gets some waves going. The 189 took the waves like a Jon boat but the 1880 ate them like a boss. I bought the 1880 and it fishes like a 20’ boat, mostly because the way the front deck extends to the console.

If you’re going to be in big water I’d take the 1880, IMHO
