    Got a new 250 SHO in Feb. 2020 for 19,600 installed. Think I only got 5 years of warranty though.

    Holy cow! You could rebuild it yourself for a few hundred if you like the engine. Just replace the parts and fire it up again. If it has a hole in the block you can have an aluminum welder close the hole up too for about $100. You could have it back on the water in about 30 days.

    I had a quote last year for a 2021 250SHO for $18,000.00, in stock, hung (middle of the summer when everything was high and hard to get). I have a special relationship with the dealer, but $16,00.00 to repair seems ridiculous. Even at $10,000.00, I’d seriously consider repowering.
