Have not been up there in a year. But it normally is a good place to fish if you can make the run.

I was there for a week 3-10 November and the lake is 4.1’ low which is a pain getting around. We always stay at Bill’s Landing and fish all around the area, Teneha creek, Cow Bayou, Huxley, etc. We caught fish but was real slow compared to past trips. It is slow going when the lake level is falling. We did see a lot of Bald Eagles every day! One big problem is the Salvia plants are all over the creeks and there are air boats spraying, which make a hell of a lot of noise. Many of the creeks we have fished for many years are impassable now due to the Salvia.
