    2017 TRITON 21TRX PROPS & SUGGESTIONS

Running 2017 Triton 21TRX replacement hull with 2014 Mercury 250 Pro Xs Optimax w/ 1.75 Torquemaster. 285hrs total 6-7 hours on new powerhead. New Motor Mounts, Steering System, Thermostats, filters, fluids and impeller. I know the 2017's came back slower and I'm seeing a lot of similar speeds from same props.
The boat has Ultrex, 10ft Poles, Hydraulic Jack-Plate Plate w/ the 2 degree wedges, All Group 31 Batteries. Speeds for the load aren't bad I know there's other props to try but just wanting to see what other peoples recommendations, input or opinions are. 400ft above sea level. All runs made between 40-45 degrees outside with 2-4in of chop. Roughly 150lbs of added weight, one person, 3/4 tank fuel, livewells full or empty ran about the same on the top end. All are stock props. All ran best between 9.5-10(full) on Trim. Holeshot and Lift rated scale 1-5.

    25 Fury No PVS Plugs 71.9mph @5700rpms Jack-Plate @10 on gauge - Holeshot 1.5/5 - Lift 4/5
25 Trophy Plus Mercury Racing Vent Control Ring No PVS Plugs 70.7mph @5800rpms Jack-Plate @12 on gauge - Holeshot 2/5 - Lift 3.5/5
    25 Bravo 1 LT No PVS Plugs 65.1mph @5500rpms Jack-Plate @14 on gauge (lol to big) - Holeshot 3.5/5 - Lift 5/5
    23 Fury 4 (2)Solid PVS Plugs 67.8mph @5950rpms Jack-Plate @13 on gauge - Holeshot 4/5 - Lift 5/5
    25 Tempest (3)Large PVS Plugs 70.6mph @5850rpms Jack-Plate @14-15 on gauge - Holeshot 4.5/5 - Lift 2/5
    24 Tempest (2)Large PVS Plugs (1)Solid PVS Plug 69.7mph @6000rpms Jack-Plate @14-15 on gauge - Holeshot 5/5 - Lift 4.5/5
    24 Fury No PVS Plugs 69.2mph @5800rpms Jack-Plate @13-14 on gauge - Holeshot 3.5/5 - Lift 4/5

How I got the best holeshot with the tempest I have no clue was not expecting it. Your guess is as good as mine.
If you guys have any other suggestions let me know but touching 70 in this boat I think is doing pretty good. Tempest had the most stability for sure there was almost no chinewalk which was pretty cool. Thanks.

Look like the 24 and 25 Tempest were your best. Might send the 25 to Croxton and have it B&B with a slight bit of cup. Prolly will wake it up a bit.

I have seen 76mph in mine with one person, cool air temp and less than half tank. Full two person tourney load during the summer is 72-73mph most days. As far as top end...25 fury 3 blade at 2.75PTP is best I can find. 26 Tempest can usually run a little higher and would be my next choice.

Just changed to lithiums. Anxious to see if I can gain anymore.
