Hello, Looking to remove my second console on my TR-21X. I want to keep it and make it removable for when Im doing solo tournaments, but be able to put it back in for when I take the wife and kids out. Has anyone tried this/feasible?

Looked into getting this done on my skeeter. Any reputable fiberglass shop can get this done but it's the $$$ that kept me from proceeding.
I considered it on my TR196 but there isn’t a good way to attach the side of the console to the port gunnel without glassing in a threaded insert of some kind.
The front of the console is easy, as you could use wing nuts and lock washers on the bolts (wing nuts on the inside of port rod locker).
I ended up just bolting mine in …… as it does not get in my way at all.

rabbit i could walk you through removing it, i did mine 2 years ago. as far as putting it back on...you would prob have to do what lightning said
