    Gulf Shores Alabama Suggestions Appreciated

Driving over to GS today to try and play golf Monday and Tuesday.
    Peninsula looks interesting.
Any thoughts on golf courses to play or places to eat appreciated.
    Thanks

Peninsula is pretty good when I last played it 5 years ago. Also played kiva dunes. Tough golf course

Thanks. We will try Kiva dunes tomorrow.
Drove to it today, but closed.
    Definitely the off season here.
100,000 in summer but only 18,000 snowbirds here in winter months.
Golfed Penisula-very nice course-new greens on one nine today that were very fast but putted true.
Not many golfers out today6 on a very nice day in the upper 60’s and no wind.

Kiva Dunes had an extra benefit.
It is near home base of the Blue Angels.
They we’re practicing at low levels in both the a.m. and p.m. during our round.
Free air show was very cool.
Oh, and it was a nice golf course still recovering from hurricane Sally with a little burn pit going on during the round-but other than that most of the course has been restored nicely.

$85 for Peninsula and $89 for Kiva.
