That pic of that one tornado...what a monster! It looked like almost the whole storm was on the ground! Have driven through there many times on way to KY lake from OK. Hey what is the university there? I was telling my wife about the town, and trying to remember?

I thatnk everyone for the prayers. I have been out this morning trying to get gas for the generator. Mayfield is almost 100% gone it barely missed iur house this time! I cant describe the devastation around every where I look.
A factory collapsed and several are dead or missing, the John Deere dealer next to it had tractors ,combines ,equipment throw on top of the already collapsed building that had 2nd shift workers in there.
Had to try to go to Calvert City for gas but cant get there.
Electric company just posted it will be several days to weeks with no power.

Alot of Prayers. Its awful here and I mean awful. Tornado and town is almost gone.

I know you know what they are going to be facing in the upcoming days. We had two smaller ones here but no known loss of life. One ten miles from me and another about 30 miles. Mayfield looks like it was bombed from what they are showing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and communities that were effected!

You may be thinking of Murray State. It is in Murray,Ky just about 20 miles from Mayfield.

Hammered Junction City Airport near me as well. Family member lost a barn and the house was spared in central Ky. Very thankful it didn’t get them. Barn is a pancake. Poor mayfield looks a lot like west Liberty did a few years back. Prayers

Tornadoes are terrible in many ways. Lost everything I had in one about 11 years ago. Thank God I was able to get to safety with my wife and kids just before it hit my home. I pray for all in this terrible event.
