    New Tracker 190TX Trailer Question

Looking at getting a 2021 Tracker 190TX boat. My concern is that the trailer has 13" tires vs 14" or 15". It'll be fine on short trips but towing any great distance like 300-400 miles not sure how those smaller tires will hold up. Any body that has one have any issues with theirs?

No issues with mine. The furthest I have gone is approximately 250 miles.

No issues with my trailer tires. The trailer itself is a little too bouncy for taste. I towed a 7000lb 31 ft travel trailer, with heavy duty trailer tires, for 10+ years. No bounce at all. When I need new tires, for the boat trailer, I'll likely go for some heavy duty trailer tires with stronger sidewalls

I put thousands of miles this year alone on my trailer with 13" wheels and had no problems.

I tow mine on 300-400 mile trips a few times a year. No problems. I tow with a 6 cylinder GMC Envoy. Tows like a dream. Just get a spare tire. Some guys were having issues with these trailers that had only a single leaf spring setup, so check to make sure the new ones have double or triple. If not, they're an easy change.

My only advice is get one with a 115hp if you can. I have a 90hp. It's just fine, but there are times making long runs I wish I had a bit more speed.

Thanks for all the replies. Good to know. Yes I definitely would go with the 155 Pro Max for sure.

This seems to be an issue that follows Tracker no matter the model boat.

I have the issue as well and I REALLY dislike that it does that. It's a bit unnerving to be honest. Eventually I am going to upgrade the leaf springs on my trailer to dual leaf, or MAYBE even 3 leaf. I just do not know the measurements to my springs, so I can't just go out and buy new ones, since there are so many different sizes available out there.

I only have a pro 165 tracker but have towed it across country 2200 miles and 3000 miles now twice with 13 in tires and no problems. Keep them aired right and keep you bearings greased

What is the PSI that you run your tires at if you don't mind me asking?

50 lbs as shown on the tires and recommended by the dealer i purchased them from. My boat/trailer is a 2012. I did San Diego to upstate NY in spring 2018 and Knoxville Tn to San Diego Sept 2021. I also fish on average of twice a week wherever I am at. Had bearings replaced before each long trip.

My 190 trailer has about 10,000 miles on factory tires. Fixing to replace at the three year mark!
