    Deep Cold Bass

Jim was a diehard and went out and froze his rear off. He was rewarded with some good sized largemouth on a southern Michigan Lake.

Looks like old Jim came out of the woodworks Mike. Next video will be Kent Lake. Post that around Christmas. It was toughest day I can remember there and the all day rain didn't help matters much, but still managed some. I took my grandson to fish from shore there this past summer and we stuck into some good ones just from the bank. The only thing I really dislike about that place is there is no good parking for trailer. I notice lots of people park on the grass and I'm surprised the park people don't have a fit about it.

Thanks for the video. Kent Lake can be a very tough lake at times. Looking forward to that video!

Seemed like perfect conditions, but they weren't on that day. Really had to work for the bites. Such a beautiful lake.

Kent can make you smile and cry. Still some 15-17 pound bags weighed in this summer. I had a couple really good days for numbers this year. Didn't fish a derby at all this year. The Stony Stonewort has taken over a lot of the lake. When they spray it gets nasty. Still a fun lake to frog fish and flip.

It's amazing sometimes. I've been bundled up head to toe and see a jet skier out in November.

lol - yes i did see someone on a jet ski like 2 weeks ago also.

i also routinely used to see some guy barefoot skiing every spring - like, in early April.. people are nuts.

Kent Lake will have to wait another couple weeks. We ended up putting out Sandusky Bay this week instead.
