    Ford super duty diesel

Watched a guy in a super duty diesel (with the dual stacks) trying to pass a delivery truck on a hill and couldn't do it. He rolled the coal but didn't have the giddy up. Is that surprising? He didn't look to have a load in the bed unless it was really flat. My Hemi 5.7 could have caught him no problem but I was Sunday driving today

Cruising at 75 and my 22 model will be near 100 in matter of a couple seconds, this thing has more power than any of the other ones I’ve had.

A 6.7? Supposedly it will do a 0-60 in just over 7 seconds. I have never timed mine, but she is a beast. I very seldom go past 3/4 throttle and she pulls great. They do have a 94ish speed limit, so unless the delivery truck was close to that, there had to be an issue with the SD. As long as I could see far enough ahead, I would pass a delivery truck pulling my 11k camper.

That's what I thought. We were doing 55-60 and it wasn't very steep. Either it wasn't running right or he was carrying more weight than I could see.

If it’s rolling coal that bad, probably a turbo issue or a real bad tune.

Couldn't have been running right, even my old 7.3 will shoot from 75 to 100 real quick on the highway.

As stated the 6.7 is a beast so something wasn't right there. When I first purchased mine I pulled out onto the main highway, 129 south with my 35 foot travel trailer behind it I floored it and it actually squealed the tires with all that weight, unbelievable! I told my buddies I had better watch out or it (as the old men used to say) would ring the driveshaft out of it! I purchased mine new in 2012 so not one of the newer ones but only has 28,000 miles on it today.

When the '20 model came out Road&Track managed to eek out a 6.1 second 0-60 pass.

My dad's truck didn't have any power when the turbo started failing. I pulled my boat and the truck didn't have any more power than my F150. New turbo and a slight tune made a huge difference.

My 2012 6.7 is like a big sports car. No way that thing was running right. Even the older ones had go when tuned.
