It doesn't make sense. How could that car be right there for 45 years and no one saw it? Seasonal low water and in drought years the car had to be exposed.
That's also a country bridge on a county road. How many times was that bridge inspected in 45 years, and nobody saw anything?

I know it's terrible.^^^ we had a lady go missing and skid marks and damaged railings at a bridge were reported and investigated, 5 months later they turned off the spillway up the river and looks at that spot and found her. Like wow our insignificant fish finders are helping more than 200k units we have around here

We've been talking about this at work today... It's a sad story and to think his dad past away in 2007 and his mom just earlier this year, they never had the closure of what happened to their son. If you read the entire article, who was actually the body in the barrel that the grandfather helped dump into a pond? This story is crazy...

Lots of strange stuff in this case

If this happened in Alabama what is the GBI doing as lead investigators?

Next what about the 2 people CONVICTED in 2005 for hiding his body saying they shot him put him in a barrel full of concreate and dumped in a pond?

On YouTube there are several channels where guys that dive have been going around the country or locally and trying to crack some of these cold cases, specifically where they may be in water. They have solved a very good handfull of cases. They are all volunteers and work off of donations.

Adventures with Purpose is one channel.

45 years of heartache for the parents and family not knowing is simply unimaginable. Always wondering and hoping the next phone call or ring of the doorbell will offer an answer, or be their child. So sad. Prayers for them all.

We had a young lady found in a similar way recently, missing for 40 years. https://www.bostonherald.com/2021/11...-40-years-ago/

LaGrange is on the Ga / Ala line basically and the car had Troup county (Ga) tags

No surviving family members. His dad died a while back and his mama died earlier this year.

That Pinto didn’t appear to show enough front end damage from a car traveling 45-55+mph running off the road into a small creek.

I suspect that car was pushed into the creek.
