Please lift my sis in law up in prayer, her name is Bonnie. We went to Kathy's brother's for Thanksgiving. Bonnie was worried about upcoming oral surgery for a dental implant, being under anesthesia scares her. When the anesthesiologist got all her recent records last week he found a 2.1 cm mass had been discovered in Feb. '20, but the radiologist failed to notify her doctor, now in Dec. '21 it's 4.7 cm! She has been in contact with specialists at Vandy and will be seeing them soon. Looks to me to be a major negligence on the radiologist's end...she thought everything was fine, she's been floored with this bad news. TIA

I would also have to put some of that on the Dr. too.
He had to order the images and failed to follow up with the radiologist to retrieve those images.
I have learned in the last couple of years the we need to be vigilant ourselves in following up on all of our medical procedures.
