Two months waiting for a YAMAHA powerhead under warranty and still waiting...
so if I order a complete rig with a Mercury (ex: Nitro) would I face key parts taking 4-6 months arriving?
Sounds crazy but I have about 5 more fishing years left so every week I cannot fish or compete in 4 clubs is gone forever...

Doug- we can't help you with your Yamaha situation (here). That's something you would need to take up with your Yamaha Dealer, or Yamaha (directly).
Regardless of brand, there are likely going to be shortages of components at this time. This isn't just an "outboard" thing, either. It is affecting virtually every business and sector.
