Georgia getting curb stomped today ought to knock them out of the top 4 but we all know how likely that is to happen. If it were a close game then I'd likely have them at 4. Quite frankly ND doesn't deserve it either with the loss to Cincy at home and not playing a conference championship game.

ND CANNOT get in if Michigan wins. That is 100% fact. Hell they may not get in if Michigan loses. They could put Baylor in possibly over them.

It is what should happen but we all know it won't because of the SEC circle jerk among the committee. GA has only played 1 team with a chance at the CFP and they were embarrassed. Every other team has played a team who was either in the top 4 or had a legit shot at the playoff and won. Can someone please give a legitimate argument for why a losing team should get in over a team who shows up and wins their conference against a very likely CFP team

I hate the SEC, but there is no way Georgia losing to Bama is worse then a 2 loss Baylor team with one of those loses being to TCU….no way.

They did still beat an Okie St team who probably would've likely been the number 4 team with the GA loss. They proved that they could beat a contender which GA did not do today

Not too excited about an immediate rematch for 2/3 but no way Cincy should jump Georgia and since Michigan is working over Iowa Bama shouldn't leapfrog them either.

This might just be a conspiracy theory but here it is. What if the SEC paid GA to loose to Bama today to give them the best odds of getting 2 SEC teams into the playoffs? Im pretty sure a 2 loss Bama would not make the playoffs. That is not something the NCAA or SEC wanted to see IMO. Bama is probably one of if not the most talked about schools in the country for football. People either love them or hate them but they get talked about. So I think they told GA to take the loss and Bama might repay that favor if both teams are in the Championship game.

I don’t believe that, because most of the country doesn’t want to see them play again for the title. We want some fresh blood in there. I think a Bama or Georgia / Michigan game gets a way higher rating then another sec championship.

Bit of a stretch there, but it might make a good book. Then again, I just knew Georgia would have little trouble with Bama, shows you what I know.
