New MG Tour Pro - Installation Questions

Upgrading to an MG Tour Pro 82 w/HD+ Sonar on my 2007 Sabre FTD. Also adding Ionic Lithium batteries. 1-125ah start, 2-50ah TM.
Reducing battery weight by approx. 90lbs.
Ready to do the TM install in the next few weeks when the Dr releases me to do something besides sit or walk (inguinal hernia surgery). Killing me not to be able to get started.
    Couple of questions.
The foot pedal is really big. Anyone installed a Tour Pro in a Sabre or Pantera, and did it fit in the pedal recess area? Mods required?

I wasn’t able to check trolling motor wire size, but assume it’s 6 AWG if I recall correctly. Adding a Motorguide 60amp breaker at the battery, and a new Battery Tender plug/receptacle and faceplate up front.

If I can’t do the work right, I can at least put together a game plan. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had pedal specs. And my rough measurement of the bottom of the pedal recess area suggests it will accommodate the 9.1” width of the TP pedal. Although the corners are rounded at the bottom of that area, so may need to shim it to clear.
Wondering if any owners have done an actual install.

Pedal fits great in my caracal. The pedal has rubber feet so it should clear the rounded edge in the bottom of the well.

If you need a little lift to clear the rounded bottom, use four Teflon washers under the feet, 3/4” dia x 3/8” thk.

Thanks guys. I figured the pedal would fit, however tight it looked. I have an assortment of spacers if I need to raise it slightly.
Dying to get started. And, I can see there will be more questions as this install progresses. I’ll be starting at the bow plate for the TM plug to see if I have to crimp on ring terminals to convert from the original Marinco plug to the Battery Tender. Lots of little stuff to address.
