In order to run 3D structure scan on a Lowrance HDS Cabon 16 do I need to have the structure scan box? Or does it come loaded in the system already? Will I have to run 2 transducers? Thanks for the help!

The StructureScan 3D is bundle with both transducer and module, and can not be used without the module.
The transom mount version of StructureScan 3D does not do 2D, so you will need a seperate 2D-transducer as well.
And the unit at the now should be on a transducer to the trolling motor correct?
Unless your trolling motor has a built in transducer you would need a 2D at the least for depth at the bow. An HDI is a choice many make. 2D and Downscan and easy to mount.
