    Russell Lake SC

Anyone on here fish Russell Lake? I have a tournament there in Early March. Is it primarily a spotted bass lake? primarily clear? What weights does it normally take that time year? One end of the lake usually better than another that time of year?

    Thank you,

    Justin Russell

I pretty sure the weight depends on the fisherman some will have 20 cause you can catch some big largemouth also but some will have 0 .lol I'm usually the latter

Well marked channels, standing timber in the creeks, no houses. March will be excellent just have to find them. Buy a paper map from Kingfisher maps will help you out a bunch before you get there.

Early early March the bite is anchored by grouped up Magnum spots. Mid-March on will be anchored by shallow LM.
