    motor wiring harness tube question

hello, not sure what the name of the large black tube covering motor wiring is called, but mine is coming loose at motor side.see pics.
thought about just pushing it back in and hold with stainless sheet metal screws, but if any better ideas please someone comment.
    thanks

Rigging hose..... I believe it should screw in but maybe a couple of rivets if it needs it. be careful with screws and their points poking wires and/or hoses.

If you want try keep it from backing out get it started then put some 3M 4200 on it or 2 part epoxy to act like thread lock.

Also if it pops out the other end from twisting it just take screws out and twist end back on then re screw it to the hull

I would cut it off and use a TH zipper sleeve.

thanks guys for all the tips.
yes i agree rivets probably better than sheet metal screws.
like trashcan idea of loosening the other end connected to transom, get the twist better aligned, then either rivet and /or epoxy the hose to the motor end.
