How deep does the livescope work? I’m curious about using one for ice fishing. Last winter we were ice fishing for whitefish in 65-95 FOW, is this too deep? Thanks

Per the website specs, it shows 200' max. both forward and down.

I have used it trolling with a down rigger in 80 FOW in forward view looking back about 50 feet. Kept the ball and bait about 10 feet off the bottom. I could see the ball, the small spoon sometimes and lake trout looking at the bait and ball. Very cool to see the fish come up and follow the bait. I have not used it on ice yet.
For me if there is a very hard thermocline it looses a lot of lapsed at that line. Didn't matter if it was 20' or 35' down. Keep in mind this is a particular extreme thermocline. On more normal lakes I did not see this. Also nothing can live under the thermocline in my scenario. No "DO"
I see bait and fish at 80-90' with no issues and good clarity.
I live and fish on Bull Shoals. The Walleye club does regular Dissolved Oxygen profiles. A hard thermocline (one you can see as a bright red line on 2D) forms in mid June. The water below it does not get seriously
depleted till mid August. Below 2.0 ppm. Still not lethal but seriously effects life of all kinds. Each lake and longitude has differing situations. If you see stuff below the thermocline it is fish. I used to think nothing could live below, but not that way here. Bob
