USA New CX20: Build starts this week!

It’s a great time of year and looking like a great Christmas gift soon on its way!

Should be out of the mold by next week.
We may just even have a thread on here showing the stages and progression of a Caymas build.
    Stay tuned!!

That would be cool to show pics of the build, the Bullet guys do that quite a bit.

Well boys… she’s sprayed and out of the mold. Now onto the assembly line and the build will come in stages.
Lookin good in the neighborhood and CAYMAS has it going on!! They are flat out doing an awesome job here and these boats are making a big time impact with fishermen!! This CX20 is going to be an incredible rig!!

Top deck looking awesome, are you going to pick it up, usually takes about 8-10 days after sprayed?

Rodney.. I think we will have a few extra days before completion with the Christmas shutdown happening. Got to go pick up my BBT mounts from Van very soon and also get the CAYMAS logo fender mats on the way.

    As promised, more build photos.

    First:
Side view with top & bottom together. Wiring being pulled but no carpet or cockpit turf installed

    Second:
Rear shot with back lids now attached and carpeted. The entire front deck lined with padding and covered with carpeting. Notice the rubrail is complete now too!

    Third:
    Side rear view facing forward.

Love the giant white stripe! amazing how many custom Caymas looks can be dreamed up from what looks like such a simple boat design.

Funny you say that about the white stripe (Hull Insert). It is White Gel coat and I wanted it wider than normal. So I added the (Hull Accent Pin) as White gel coat also to give it another 1/4" of width. This one is custom and I kept it clean! I do not think there's one out there with this exact color pattern and accents chosen. I blended the (Deck Accent, Deck Top, & Hull Accent) all the same as the (Main Hull) which is Thundercloud. Up top the (Deck Accent Pin) will be Black Gel Coat. But down at the hull pin I left it Thundercloud. Obviously the bottom is Black gel coat.
